  • Office of Consumer and Business Affairs (OCBA)
    Business and Occupational Services is responsible for licensing various occupations and tradespersons on behalf of the Commissioner for Consumer Affairs. We take an active role within South Australia in distributing information, encouraging industry co-regulation and educating its customers on general licensing issues. If you wish to search for a licensed tradesperson in your area or if you want to check if a particular person or company is licensed in South Australia, then you can do that on the Licensing Public Register
  • Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA)
    The role of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) includes ensuring that the community is well informed about communications matters and delivering effective consumer protection to consumers. Since its establishment in 1969, ASIAL has grown from a small network of security companies to one that today represents approximately 85% of the security industry in Australia.
